What a week that was
They say Rome wasn't built in a day, in our first week and a few days we have moved new furniture in to the main bar area, removed some very old and shabby booth seating, had it completely painted out over night thanks to Gus Macnaughton and his boys to whom we owe a massive debt of gratitude for there unstinting support and huge overnight efforts with the rollers and brushes to get us clean bright and tidy. Many thanks lads.
We have hosted two hugely successful party's and entertained 60 Italian guests in two sittings. The restaurant has been full most nights and the old place is coming back to life again.
Although we have lots of photos of all that has been going on we dont seem to be able to upload them to the Blog at the moment, as soon as we can we will.
Some sleep would be nice but as the saying goes there is no rest for the wicked.
The next update will carry news about the forthcoming yacht race with details of our Sail Away menu.
Also coming in July our first music event featuring Esther O'Connor, Further details to come.
